Alycia is a Marine Ecology alumni from USD and an artist dedicated to exploring the intersection between art and science.
Her artwork draws inspiration from the intricate details of marine organisms. Through the lens of macro photography she aims to showcase complex morphological adaptations through intricate lines and textures.
To her, art is an approachable way to communicate sophisticated scientific information in an accessible and interactive way which inspires appreciation for the natural world.
Alycia is so grateful the opportunities USD has offered her and she is honored to call the Shiley Center for Science and Technology home to her very first art installation.
